When I first wrote Night Lore, I poured my heart onto those pages, hoping readers would connect with the story that had lived in my mind for so long. The response has been more than I ever dreamed of. Your messages, fan art, and theories about what happens next have kept me going through countless late-night writing sessions.
Now, I'm thrilled to finally announce that The Stars of Ember will be released on March 20th, 2025. Just one more month until you can hold the sequel in your hands. I've lived with these characters for so long, watched them grow and face new challenges, and I can't wait to share their continuing journey with you.
Writing this second book has been different. Night Lore was about stepping into the unknown, about finding your way through darkness. The Stars of Ember pushes our characters into even more dangerous territory. The stakes are higher, the secrets deeper, and yes—some of your theories have been surprisingly close to the truth. Others haven't even scratched the surface of what's coming.
To my readers who've been with me since Night Lore first released: thank you. Your support means everything. The late-night messages, the passionate discussions, the way you've embraced these characters as your own—it's what keeps me writing, even when the words don't want to come.
And to those who haven't started the series yet: there's still time to dive into Night Lore before the sequel drops. I've hidden plenty of clues in the first book about what's coming next. See if you can spot them.
The Stars of Ember has been a labor of love, and in many ways, it's the book I've always wanted to write. It answers questions while opening new mysteries, and takes us to places I've been dying to explore since I first created this world.
One more month. That's all that stands between you and the next chapter of this story. I can't tell you how much it means to have you on this journey with me.
Until then, keep theorizing, keep reading, and most importantly—keep believing in magic.
With gratitude,
Gigi
